Cooperation Protocol between Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries Company and Baheya Foundation for Supporting Women’s Health in Egypt.
In line with strengthening corporate social responsibility and supporting efforts to advance the health of Egyptian women, Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries Company has signed a cooperation protocol with Baheya Foundation through contributing medical support by donating an ultrasound device, with the aim of enhancing the quality of diagnostic services provided to breast cancer patients and survivors.
The protocol was signed in the presence of H.E. Eng. Hany Dahy, Chairman and Managing Director of Abu Qir Fertilizers, and Eng. Tamer Shawky, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Baheya Foundation.

The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Maged Hamdy, Member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors; Ms. Lamia El-Naama, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Sector; Ms. Radwa Kansouh, Public Relations Manager; Ms. Nahed El-Saady, Public Relations Officer; Ms. Basant Essam, Head of Fund Development Department; Ms. Nada Hamdy, Senior Fund Development Specialist; and Ms. Nada Ismail, Fund Development Supervisor at Baheya Foundation.

From Abu Qir Fertilizers, the signing was witnessed by Eng. Ashraf Sabry, Assistant Managing Director for Production and Chairman of the CSR Committee; Dr. Mohamed Mamdouh, Head of the Medical Sector; Mr. Mohamed Abdelmonem, Head of Financial and Accounting Sectors; Ms. Nervana Oraby, Head of Investor Relations and Media Sector; Eng. Marwa Ramadan, Head of Sustainability Sector; Mr. Hany Mokhtar, Deputy Head of Legal Sectors; Mr. Sherif El-Attal, Head of Public Relations Sector; Mr. Karim Abdelghany, General Manager of the Chairman’s Office; and Ms. Shaimaa Abdelaziz, General Manager of the Board Secretariat.

On this occasion, Eng. Hany Dahy expressed his pride in cooperating with Baheya Foundation, given its strong credibility and outstanding performance on the ground. He also emphasized the company’s continued commitment to supporting the surrounding community, particularly in the fields of medical care and social services, as well as its dedication to launching initiatives focused on public health and women’s health.

He further noted that supporting Baheya Foundation stems from Abu Qir Fertilizers’ firm commitment to its social responsibility and its belief in the importance of providing advanced healthcare services that contribute to improving women’s quality of life. He affirmed the company’s keenness to sustain this collaboration in support of national healthcare efforts.

For his part, Eng. Tamer Shawky stated that this cooperation aligns with the Foundation’s strategy to expand its free medical services and deliver the highest standards of healthcare to women. He highlighted that the ultrasound device represents a significant addition to early diagnosis capabilities, contributing to higher recovery rates and reducing advanced-stage cases.
