Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries Participates in Honoring Top Graduates of General Education Certificates in Alexandria.

In line with its commitment to supporting education, encouraging high achievers, and contributing to community development, Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries Company participated in the ceremony honoring the top-performing students in the 2025/2026 academic year. The ceremony was organized by the Alexandria Directorate of Education at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, in the presence of Eng. Ayman Atteya, Governor of Alexandria, along with a number of executive and educational leaders, members of the House of Representatives and Senate, and the parents of the honored students.

The ceremony honored 57 male and female students who ranked among the top achievers in preparatory and secondary education, as well as technical diplomas. A number of students with disabilities were also honored, including the top-performing visually impaired student in the General Secondary Education Certificate, the top-performing student among the deaf and hard-of-hearing category, and the top students enrolled in inclusive education programs at the secondary level.

During his speech at the ceremony, Eng. Ayman Atteya, Governor of Alexandria, emphasized that honoring the top-performing students represents a celebration of distinguished success stories achieved through hard work, perseverance, and determination. He also praised the role of students’ families, teachers, and education professionals in supporting and encouraging students to achieve academic excellence.

For his part, Eng. Hany Dahy, former Minister of Transport and Chairman and Managing Director of Abu Qir Fertilizers, expressed his pleasure at participating in the ceremony honoring the outstanding students. He emphasized that supporting and encouraging high achievers represents a genuine investment in Egypt’s future, noting that the students’ success and academic excellence are the result of knowledge, hard work, and perseverance, and reflect Egypt’s promising human potential.

He further emphasized that the role of national companies extends beyond their economic and production activities to supporting society and contributing to human development, particularly among young people and students, who represent the leaders of the future.

Eng. Dahy also highlighted Abu Qir Fertilizers’ commitment to supporting community and educational initiatives and encouraging outstanding role models, stressing that investing in education and people is the most sustainable and impactful investment in the nation’s future.
