The Leaders Award ceremony honored Engineer Hany Dahy, Chairman of Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries, by granting him the “Builders of Future Bridges Toward Sustainable Development” award for 2025.
In its sixth edition, the Leaders Award ceremony — held under the theme “Builders of Future Bridges” — honored Engineer Hany Dahy, Chairman and Managing Director of Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries and former Minister of Transport, by awarding him the “Builders of Future Bridges Toward Sustainable Development” prize for 2025, represented by the Tutankhamun necklace.
This recognition came in appreciation of the tangible achievements realized by Abu Qir Fertilizers under Dahy’s leadership during 2025, marked by a clear leap in both financial and operational performance. This progress was supported by higher production rates, stronger positioning in global export markets, and full commitment to meeting domestic market needs while contributing to national food security.

The award was presented by Engineer Abdel Salam El Gebaly — Chairman of the International Company for Crops and member of the Leaders Award Board of Trustees — alongside economist Mohamed Maher, also a board member. The award was received on Dahy’s behalf by Engineer Ibrahim Momtaz, Deputy Managing Director for Plant Affairs at Abu Qir Fertilizers.
It is worth noting that the Leaders Award ceremony, organized for the sixth consecutive year by Alam Al Mal Foundation for journalism, printing, and publishing, aims to recognize inspiring and high-impact leadership models that actively support the state’s direction toward achieving the vision of the New Republic and implementing the objectives of Egypt’s Sustainable Development Plan 2030. The 2025 Board of Trustees includes a distinguished group of leaders from finance, business, and media.
