Training Center of Abu Qir Fertilizers

The Training Center of Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries Company was established in 1992 with the aim of developing the human capabilities of the company’s employees and providing qualified technical cadres to meet the needs of the fertilizer and chemical industries in Egypt.

Since its establishment, the center has undergone several phases of development to increase the number of training halls and labs to keep pace with the technological development in the industry.

Our Goal

Investing in the humans by providing integrated training programs in all fields of the fertilizer and chemical industries, in addition to various administrative and human resource development programs, data analysis programs, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.

Developing the capabilities of trainees to enhance their knowledge and skills to achieve the highest levels of performance through various training opportunities supported by modern methods and techniques. This includes innovating new solutions to meet training needs through numerous conferences, programs, workshops, and seminars to effectively help individuals achieve success and organizational goals efficiently and effectively.

Raising the technical and administrative efficiency of trainees in accordance with the latest global scientific and practical developments.

Facilities

The Training Center includes:

Four (4) lecture halls

equipped with the latest audio-visual aids and high-speed internet, with a seating capacity of approximately 120 trainees.

One (1) computer lab

dedicated to training on digital control systems and industrial software, with a seating capacity of approximately 20 trainees.

A comprehensive library

containing approximately 4,568 books in various fields, in addition to scientific references and specialized periodicals.

Training

Consultations and Technical Support

Abu Qir Fertilizers Company provides technical support to sister companies, both inside and outside Egypt, through training programs specially designed to meet their needs. This support is provided by an elite group of the company's internal trainers who hold specialized international certifications. Trainees receive practical instruction within the company, either at the production sites or in the company’s various workshops.

Community Role

The center pays great attention to its community role through:

Organizing workshops and awareness lectures for more than 350 university students annually to reduce the gap between academic theory and practical application.
Hosting numerous field visits by university students from various parts of the Republic.
Training many employees in fertilizer and chemical companies in the Arab Republic of Egypt and sister Arab countries. The Training Center is considered a destination for many of these companies to qualify their human cadres and raise their scientific and practical efficiency in various technical and administrative fields.
