Abu Qir 1
Abu Qir 1 Plant is the first and oldest production facility of Abu Qir Fertilizers Company. Commissioned in 1979, the plant was originally designed to produce granulated urea fertilizer, with a nameplate capacity of 1,000 tons/day of ammonia and 1,550 tons/day of Urea prills.
Over the decades, the plant has undergone multiple upgrades and Revamps aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reliability, and increasing production capacity.
Current Production Units
- Ammonia plant: Design Capacity (post-revamps): 1,100 tons/day.
- Urea plant: Design Capacity: 1,550 tons/day.
