President of the Egyptian Japanese University welcomed Abu Qir Fertilizers & Chemicals Chairman
As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen ties and collaboration between Abu Qir Fertilizers & Chemicals Company and the Egyptian Japanese University of Science and Technology, Dr. Amr Adly, President of the university, welcomed Eng. Abed Ezz El-Raggal, Chairman and Managing Director of Abu Qir Fertilizers & Chemicals, along with a delegation of the company’s senior management.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Sameh Nada, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and several deans, including Dr. Mona Gamal El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Resources, Energy, Environment & Petrochemicals, Dr. Amr El-Tawil, Dean of the Faculty of Creative Design, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Monem, Dean of the Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences.

The discussions focused on potential collaboration in scientific research, postgraduate studies, training, and industry, with particular emphasis on:
- Green hydrogen production
- Carbon dioxide capture and conversion into high-value products
- Management of solar power plants
- Catalyst recovery studies
- Technical and administrative training programs

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation toured the university’s Center of Scientific Excellence, several laboratories, the Ambassador Fayza Abu Al-Naga Main Library, and the Egyptian-Japanese University store, gaining insight into the university’s research and innovation facilities.
