Abu Qir Fertilizers Honored as the Largest Exporter in the Fertilizers & Chemicals Sector for 2021/2022

In a new and proud achievement adding to its distinguished track record, Abu Qir Fertilizers & Chemical Industries was honored as the largest exporter in the fertilizers and chemicals sector for the fiscal year 2021/2022.

The honor was presented during a ceremony organized by the Egyptian Exporters Association “Expolink”, marking its 25th anniversary. The event recognized leading exporters across various sectors for their pivotal role in driving the growth of the Egyptian economy, in line with the country’s economic reform program aimed at supporting the industrial sector and maximizing exports.

The award was received by Eng. Abed Ezz El-Regal, Chairman and Managing Director of Abu Qir Fertilizers, who expressed his gratitude to the organizers and emphasized the company’s commitment to implementing strategies that enhance its role in supporting national economic growth. This includes increasing foreign currency earnings from exports while supporting Egypt’s food security by providing an annual portion of its production to the Ministry of Agriculture at subsidized prices.

The ceremony was attended by Eng. Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry, Eng. Mohamed Qassem, Chairman of the Egyptian Exporters Association, and a distinguished gathering of senior business leaders and chairpersons of major Egyptian companies.
