It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Abu Qir Fertilizers & Chemical Industries Company, a truly industrial landmark and a pioneer in the Egyptian and the Arab Fertilizers industry.
Since starting its first production in 1979, Abu Qir Fertilizers has proudly stood as the first Egyptian fertilizer company to be listed on the Egyptian Exchange, setting the foundation for decades of growth, innovation, and leadership in the production of high-quality nitrogen fertilizers — including prilled urea, granular urea, ammonium nitrate, ammonia, and liquid fertilizers (UAN) — all produced in compliance with the highest international standards and in accordance with a safe, environmentally and socially responsible framework.
Abu Qir Fertilizers operates three world-class plants with a combined production capacity exceeding 1.8 mtpa of various fertilizer products. Strategically located in Abu Qir, east of Alexandria, near Abu Qir Port on the Mediterranean Sea, our facilities enjoy a unique logistical advantage that enables efficient exports to Europe and international markets.
Moreover, Abu Qir Fertilizers proudly remains the only Egyptian company owning a marine line connecting its plants directly to the port — a feature that enhances export operations and global reach.
