Egypt relies on knowledge, innovation, and scientific research as pillars for development by investing in human capital, fostering creativity, promoting innovation, spreading innovation culture, and linking scientific research to education and development.

Examples of Initiatives:

∙ Energy Efficiency: Comprehensive studies across three factories to improve energy consumption and reduce CO₂ emissions, in line with EU standards, benchmarking with leading international companies, and evaluating new energy-saving measures. 

∙ Green Granulation Technology: Studying the adoption of green granulation units for urea production to increase capacity, reduce emissions from existing units, eliminate formaldehyde use, reduce energy requirements, and align with global environmental standards. A non-disclosure agreement is in progress with licensors to implement this technology.
