Social Justice, Inclusion, and Participation. This goal aims to:
- Achieve equality in rights and opportunities.
- Provide resources across all geographic areas, urban and rural alike.
- Promote financial inclusion and empower women, youth, and vulnerable groups. ∙ Support participation in development and strengthen loyalty to Egyptian identity.
Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives (CSR) by Abu Qir:
∙ Bashayer Al-Khair Project:
Located in Alexandria, this project transforms the informal settlement in Gheit Al-Anab into a modern residential complex in just 18 months. Covering 12 acres and consisting of 17 buildings, the complex provides 1,632 housing units of 92 m² each, accommodating over 8,000 residents. It includes a mosque, a 175-bed hospital, a vocational training and employment center, 58 small business units, a marketplace, a children’s educational park, and a center for people with disabilities. The initiative is executed in close collaboration with officially recognized charitable organizations approved by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
∙ Khartoum School – Beheira:
In collaboration with the “Decent Life” campaign under the state umbrella, a modern primary school was established in Khartoum Village, Badr Center, Beheira Governorate. The five-story school accommodates 360 students, including kindergarten, primary, and preparatory education, and is equipped for students with special needs. Its cost is estimated at 6 million EGP.
∙ Infrastructure Support:
Abu Qir provides basic services including electricity, water, and sanitation to nearby villages and maintains and paves roads in Alexandria and Beheira governorates, covering over 200 km, ensuring improved quality of life and access to essential services.
