Food security, today and in the future, relies heavily on the role of fertilizers. To ensure plant health, growth, and resilience against climate stress, providing concentrated, consistent, and readily available nutrients is essential. Mineral fertilizers are crucial to global food security, contributing to about half of the world’s food production. In Egypt, demand for fertilizers is expected to grow due to their strategic importance in meeting basic food needs. Proper use of other agricultural inputs, like water, can potentially double farm yields in a single season.
