Health

The company places great emphasis on supporting the healthcare sector as part of its CSR. Annually, it contributes to enhancing hospital efficiency by improving infrastructure and providing medical equipment to surrounding areas and regions most in need.

Abu Qir Fertilizers also organizes regular medical convoys aimed at promoting preventive measures to reduce the spread of chronic diseases, alongside providing corrective treatments for affected cases.

The company covers critical cases and surgical procedures for underprivileged residents in neighboring areas, and supports hospitals specializing in cancer and burn treatments, recognizing the complexity and necessity of supporting these cases.

Internally, the company ensures employee health and well-being by conducting regular medical tests and check-ups to monitor health indicators continuously.

Education and Scientific Research

The company pays special attention to education at all levels, from basic education to post-university studies, recognizing the role of education in human development and societal progress.

It supports underprivileged students by covering tuition fees and provides special support for outstanding university students in areas surrounding its operations.

In addition, the company contributes to funding scientific research in Egyptian universities, fostering innovation and advancing the scientific development agenda.

Since 1988, Abu Qir Fertilizers has established a comprehensive school complex (primary, preparatory, and secondary) to serve the children of employees in the residential city as well as local community members.
The company regularly monitors the complex’s needs regarding infrastructure and educational facilities to ensure a high-quality learning environment.

Furthermore, the company established a school in Al-Khartoum Village, Beheira Governorate, designed to serve the local community while accommodating the needs of students with disabilities to ensure inclusive education for all.

Improving Living Standards and Infrastructure

This pillar receives special attention, with the company continuously implementing community development projects as part of its sustainable development plans.

The company prioritizes enhancing local infrastructure, particularly improving and developing roads in surrounding areas to facilitate residents’ mobility and improve their quality of life.

Abu Qir Fertilizers also actively participates in the “Decent Life” initiative to support underprivileged regions. It has upgraded the Gheit Al-Anab area and contributed to the Bashaer Al-Kheir project, representing a model of integrated urban and social transformation.

Additionally, the company contributed to the development of Abu Al-Souad villages in the Ameria area by constructing fully equipped new houses, improving residents’ living standards and providing a dignified housing environment.
